The sensors used in OFIDIA2 are both weather stations and multi-platform sensors.

The weather stations capture the following measurements by means of different sensors:

• wind speed (anemometer)

• wind direction (wind vane)

• air temperature / relative humidity (thermohygrometer)

• global solar radiation (pyranometer)

• precipitation (pluviometer)

• fuel temperature and moisture (fuel stick)

Multi-platform sensors detect measurement parameters that can be grouped into two categories: a) early warning or risk analysis and b) alarm or fire detection.

All sensors have been customized for the project.
